About us

Simplicity Home SA is an idea that began while rearranging my furniture, objects, pictures and doing the odd DIY stuff like painting walls and getting creative while doing it. When there was nothing more to do, I started to look at old furniture and I could see the potential in them. With a bit of paint to bring out life in each piece while still keeping some of the original wood textures, I started to restore the once sad looking furniture into beautiful pieces, giving them new life and meaning. I could see different possibilities and arrangements in my mind and it became almost necessary to make them happen.

As a Kitchen designer in the kitchen industry for the past 8 years, I have the opportunity to see all kinds of homes, how people live, what their styles are and how they use their space. I realized that home styling and organising spaces was a need for many families and it became my passion to assist them with a flowing and thriving living space, to help them to restore form and function in order to achieve the purpose of their home again, to give them that 'no place like home' feeling.
